Jethro Tull Snow Storm: Thick as a brick

One of the weather men here in the Hubaplex said we, "MIGHT" and "There is a good chance for a foot of snow." Evidently two moisture sources from the Pacific Ocean and Gulf of Mexico are feeding directly into the frigid that is the South Plains. Snow starts tonight, or tomorrow, we have vague weathermen.

So I looked at Maggie the dog, and said, "It might be thick as a brick." Of course she did her Ian Anderson impression. One of my favorites. The Maggie cannot fetch, play dead, or speak on cue, but she can do Tull.

Hello, Welcome to KLF.

Why would anyone want the opinion of a mere amateur bowler?

On second thought:

My opinion is the terrorists aren't as big of a threat as the fear mongers and propaganda pimps within our own borders. My opinion is the general population believes what they want to hear and it is far from the truth. My opinion is the Bill of Rights is being trampled upon in the name of "security" for our homeland. My opinion is there are too many stupid people in the world and some of them happen to be in charge.

If it walks the goose step, speaks lies, alienates others, and profligates war, I call it Fascism.

I need to go listen to my Lee Greenwood CD, put my Toby Kieth poster up, clasp my Support the Troops button on my shirt, just in case the Gestapo, um, Homeland Security officers come by to do a patriotic "visit."

Those opinions were free. I will happily pay for them if need be.

I saw Jethro in Dallas way more years ago than I care to remember. Thanks for the memory.

I have been to two shows. Well sort of, one I was a fetus and my mother claims she left the show because of all of the dope smoke. I don't know if I believe that, but whatever man. I was a big fan before I was born.

The other was the day before my grandfather passed. My cousin told me my uncle, that was also at the show, did the Ian Anderson leg pose with flute. My grandfather laughed. He had a good sense of humor, even momentarily before his death, and I think it is unexplainable that I share that with him. (Ian Anderson probably didn't mean for it to be funny.) One of my favorite stories that is the oddness of my family and its dry sense of sarcastic humor.

Jethro Tull albums were always around the house. Probably still the same albums around somewhere.
