" ... We will complete the mission. We will do our job and constantly adjust." [that is the correct and, you're right, the original meaning of 'stay the course' prior to the media's re-definition. -P
it's no bust when they use out-of-context incomplete phrases to define what he 'must' have meant. The media you distrust is the olberman you quote. 'stay the course' meant to finish the job in Iraq. Olberman, etc. have twisted that into 'that must mean to continue to do things poorly in iraq on purpose'. so now you believe HIM?
He's busted. Man, with followers like you a man like that can tell all kinds of lies and you will eat it up. He may even be able to start another war and violate the Bill of Rights a few more times.
i saw the original interview. and later, when i saw the CLIP, the first thing i did was look up the whole interview and include a historical perspective... not just a 3 second partial-clip to make up my mind for me. today's twisted meaning of 'stay the course' did not originally mean 'do not move or adjust'. it basically meant 'stay, win, THEN come home'. unfortunately, liberals have successfully convinced you that it means 'we won't ever adjust or leave'.
open thine eyes and read.
...or you can have the Act say whatever you think it says, but the truth is clearly stated in the Act.
"Stay, win, and come home." We are losing. Even if we had 500,000 troops there it would not stop the killing and unrest. We cant make people get along in the United States. What makes you think the Shia and Shiites will?
We will leave. For sure and no doubt. It could be be far worse than the fall of Saigon. The armed insurgency is estimated by our military at 25k. Is it getting worse or better? Those people don't want democracy, especially if it is served from the United States.
You will not convince me that the current administration is competent.

"media's re-definition."
I will admit I trust the media like i trust a shell game vendor on a street corner. However, he's busted here.
